OPTIMAL READINESS TRAINING

"The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the LORD." Proverbs 21:31

The purpose is to develop an "optimal state of readiness" by adequately conditioning the body, sharpening the mind, and strengthening the spirit.

Optimal Readiness is a performance enhancement system utilizing mental skills training and periodized comprehensive physical conditioning programs designed to safely develop transferable strength, durability, and resilience.

Training Philosophy & Methodology

Consistency is critical to long-term progress, and to be consistent you must stay healthy.

This training system allows you to be consistent without spending countless hours in the gym. This is why roughly 80% of the programming consists of basic and advanced bodyweight movements

Pulling, Pushing, Squatting, Lunging, and hinging are all fundamental movement patterns.

Whether or not you load these movement patterns is determined by the individual athlete’s strength, mobility, skill, work capacity, and personal needs and goals.

Most athletes simply do not need to use heavy weights to achieve high levels of functional strength, work capacity, and all-around fitness.

This is ultimately depending upon an individual’s goals and the demands of their sport or profession.

Optimal Readiness isn't a conventional approach to strength and conditioning, however, the programming adheres to the sound principles of exercise science.

This training system is periodization, follows the SAID principle, and consists of progressive overload in the most efficient way possible.

PHASE 1...

A. Knock out the 4-Week Trial Period. This is my FREE training and coaching program that serves as a trial period to ensure that the Optimal Readiness training system is right for you.

Optimal Readiness is NOT for everyone, but if you are willing to work hard, be consistent, and show up every day with the right attitude, you will experience dramatic results!

B. Establish your performance baseline through the Physical Readiness Evaluation.

PHASE 2...

Apply for Online Programming and performance coaching to ensure continued progress toward your mental and physical readiness.

This periodized programming is designed to meet the client where he or she is based on their Baseline Physical Readiness Evaluation scores. From here, the goal is to lay a strong foundation of general physical preparedness through sound principles of exercise science utilizing minimal equipment.

Depending on their starting point and fitness level, I recommend a solid 3-6 months of custom programming for most clients.
